 ICFTN Coach Talk: The Future of Coaching

Join us for a dynamic 90-minute virtual session exploring The Future of Coaching through the lens of four experienced coaches from our community.

In this engaging format, each speaker will deliver a 10-minute “ICFTN Coach Talk,” sharing insights on emerging trends, evolving practices, and innovations shaping the coaching profession. Perspectives may include new tools, shifting client needs, and how coaches are adapting their approach in a changing landscape.

The session will conclude with a live Q&A, offering participants the opportunity to engage directly with speakers, deepen their understanding, and reflect on how these insights can be applied in their own coaching practice.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify emerging trends and innovations influencing the future of coaching
  2. Describe how evolving practices may impact their approach to coaching clients
  3. Explore ways to adapt their coaching presence and methods in response to change
  4. Apply at least one insight to enhance their effectiveness as a coach

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Heather C. Curtis, MS, PCC is a specialist in neurodiversity-affirming coaching, supporting ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults as they navigate executive functioning challenges and complex, self-directed lives. Heather serves as President of her local ICF chapter and as a teaching assistant for an ICF-accredited Level 2 coach training program. In addition to mentoring coaches toward their PCC credentialing, she is currently pursuing her Mentor Coach Qualification (MCQ) to further her expertise in coach development. She is also an emerging speaker, dedicated to advancing neurodiversity-affirming practices within the coaching profession.


Jessica C. Dawson, MBA, PCC is an Executive Coach, Keynote Speaker, and Workplace Consultant, and serves as ICF Tennessee Partner. As the CEO and Co-founder of Craft of Coaching, she leads a heart-centered community of over 300 coaches of color. A CliftonStrengths Subject Matter Expert, Jessica has spent more than ten years designing and delivering coach training for global organizations. She acts as a catalyst for professional transformation, dedicated to unlocking the potential of leaders and coaches across the globe.


Margaret Dillon, ACC

With over 20 years of expertise in the growth of nonprofit organizations, she provides executive coaching services to a national clientele. As the principal of Sherpa Consulting, she assists individuals, businesses, and nonprofit entities in achieving and implementing their most ambitious visions.


Karen Nash is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with a Master's Degree in Organization Development and certifications in Neuro-Linguistic and Presence-Based coaching. She partners with clients by drawing on behavioral science, somatic awareness, neurobiology-based coaching, and mindfulness to support growth that exceeds the outcomes they envisioned when they began. Clients value her deep listening, her ability to surface habits that help or hinder progress, and her steady focus on their desired results. Karen served as President of the ICF Tennessee Chapter in 2021, leading the chapter to the prestigious Global Chapter Recognition Award — one of only 11 chapters recognized worldwide. She is currently completing the requirements for the ICF Mentor Coaching Specialty.
